Спасибо! Это отлично!!
Ashley, судя по тому , что изменения в policies слишком свежие
для конкретно этой категории людей, я бы на вашем месте проконтролировала чтобы enrollment прошел правильно и система не дала сбой.
«Despite the improvements through Part A buy-in, communication between the SSA and Medi-Cal offices are not always seamless. For those who need to establish Medicare entitlement and apply for Part A with a premium, advocates should still instruct clients to obtain a receipt or proof of their Conditional Part A enrollment from the SSA office. Written proof, such as a screenshot of the confirmation page or receipt, can be submitted alongside their QMB application.»
Когда придёт карточка Medicare, убедитесь, что на ней есть оба Part A и Part B. В противном случае, вам надо пойти в SSA офис получить written proof of conditional part A enrollement и затем submit эту форму из SSA вместе с QMB application в местном county Department of Social Services.
“Important Considerations:
SSI Recipients: SSI recipients may be automatically enrolled into QMB.
Part A Buy-in: California is now a Part A buy-in state, meaning that individuals who are not enrolled in Part A but are eligible for Medi-Cal may need to apply for QMB to gain access to Part A.
Referral: If it's unclear whether you're eligible for Medicare Parts A and B, your local county social services agency may refer you to your local Social Security Administration office with a QMB referral form. “
”To apply for QMB in California, you can complete and mail the MC 176-2 A QMB/SLMB/QI form to your local county social services agency. Alternatively, you can apply online at BenefitsCal.org”
Follow up процесс с local county office of social services до тех пор, пока не получите результат- Medicare card with both part A and part B on it.
